This is as close as we can get to winter in Santa Barbara. Sunday morning on our walk to church, I was stunned by the beauty of snow capped mountains in our backyard.

- Swanson Acres is the name of our urban "farm"--so called by our friends who like to make fun of our yard full of messy Chickens, Ducks Rabbits and Cats. Dale and Amy run Swanson Acres and manage 3 children. Most of the time life at Swanson Acres is more like a "zoo" than a "farm."
